I love the beach. It is my reset button in life.
I have been so blessed to spend a wonderful amount of time at the beach this summer.
When someone asked a radio announcer, "How are you doing?", his reply was, "Better than I derserve". That is exactly how I feel.
I went to the beach to give God a big hug today for his great blessings.
I wonder if others feel the same way when they are on the beach. I simply can't be alone in the way I feel but if I am that's alright too.
I look around and see all the lovely houses built on the beach and wonder if it is possible for someone who feels the way I do about the beach could ever grow tired of it. I certainly hope those who are blessed to have this view on a daily basis has the opportunity to actually look at it and feel the love of it.
For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, I am sorry.
The beach and life go hand in hand to me. When I am at the beach I always feel great and......

I send my Love forever

It was cool Fall evening and all seemed calm.
Walking down the avenue home,
I felt something hanging low.
Suddenly I heard a scream
Looking around to see with way to go.
Distinctly I heard it.
With my last breath I say to you my love
I send my love forever
I ran without direction
I ran with every intention to go home
But there in the road was this lady
I seemed to know

With my last breath I say to you my love
I send my love forever

Can you Sing the Colors of my Love

OMG! This has really been a lovely summer. I have been so blessed with good things. I take nothing for granted.
I will share with you one of my favorite places in South Carolina. It is called, Brooke Green Gardens. It is a remarkable place with amazing sculptures and gardens.
In the online game of Second Life, there is a designer, Julia Hathor, who creates the most amazing pieces of art.
The gardens at Brooke Green and Julia Hathors virtual art sims in the online game of Second Life remind me of how beautiful life really is.
I am not doing a good job of explaining but maybe this song I wrote and some of the pictures in the above video might help.
If you ever get a chance to visit Julia Hathor in the online game of Second Life or to see the gardens at Brooke Green, go quiclky. Be assured you will.....

40 Mondays

Well, I am either on a roll upwards or downwards. I am gonna pray it's up.
Anyway, I created this little ditty for the musical I am working on. Take a listen and tell me what you think.
In the beginning of the play the teachers are excited about returning to school but letting go of the summer vacation is not easy. One very positive teacher tries to give hope by singing this song, 40 Mondays.
There are approximately 40 Mondays in a school year, give or take a few. Mondays are the worst for many teachers to get up.
I like this song because it is up beat and positive. That's the way you need to be if you teach. It really does help you....

Do You

Okay, I am having way too much fun! Writing this one act play has proven to have its challenges but because of the nature of the whole project, I have found loads of humor in executing this project. Please enjoy this little ditty I wrote entitled, "Do You".
In this world where some find comfort in being like someone else, I challenge you to be you and do what you do.
It has long since been my motto to "Let You Be You" and you "Let me be me". I really think the world, or part of it, would be a better place if we tried.
Go be you and I promise you will....

All is great at the lake. This summer is HOt!
I am trying to calm down. It is so exciting here. I need to focus but it's hard to do so with everything going on here.
We have someone getting married in less than a month. I love a wedding.
I have started to compose a song for our wonderful couple. I am having a blast composing. Above is a sample of what I have done thus far. Hope you like it.
I am still plotting away at my book and now a one act play.
So much going on. I am truly going to miss this vacation. I wish vacations could go on for life but you appreciate them more when you work for them. They help me....
