This is a lovely public domain book I found. I have had a great time making it available for the readers in Second Life. It is a lovely tale no matter how old you are. It is wonderful also if you are looking at historical content in images. It really is a wonderful read and the images are priceless. Makes me want to pack a bag. Actually I don't need any excuse to pack a bag and get away.

Happy Easter!

I had a happy Easter! It was a beautiful day and I hope your day was beautiful too. This season brings new meaning for me each year it comes around. It's amazing how the years create more wisdom. The more I learn, the more realize, the more I have the learn.
Eggs are just one symbol of the season. I wish I could have seen more rocks. You may not get that but maybe someone will. It's all about the rock.

Just Playing....again

I had a great day. I spent a great deal of it sleeping but I did have time to have fun! I added a trowel to my gardening animation. That was fun. I played around with creating several scenes and taking pictures too. I really do enjoy the process of creating a picture book.

A Few Hours Away...

Today was a good day. I went to another animation class in the online game Second Life. I learned some more great things. Thanks to those talented teachers.

I began doing more animations. I created a few baby doll animations. I hope to use them when doing the graphics for the children's book I am writing.

Oh, I made an awesome friend today. Most people I meet are great and my new friend is talented, funny and very generous. Cheers to you!

After being behind the computer, I decided I wanted some time out by the water. It calms me and soothes the spirit. So we loaded up the family and headed out. We always have a great time as a family. I took some pics and hope you enjoy. May I suggest you too go out and....

My Dollhouse

It was another productive day in Second Life. I created a wonderful animation for the dollhouse. The doll house comes with a beautiful animation but I decided I wanted to create one as well. It was fun.

Lights Out

I can't tell you how relaxing it is for me to sit and create. Even though I don't always like what I create, the process itself is great. Today, I began work on an animation for turning off a light. Why? I have no idea. It was something I dreamed up and just because I could, I created it. Now that is what I call freedom!

Serenity Gardens

It was really beautiful today. I went to visit Julia today in her Serenity Gardens. It was absolutely gorgeous as always. I made a gardening animation last night and it fit so well in her garden. I think I'll finish the animation by adding picking flowers. I just have so much fun creating animations.

The colors of the flowers were really wonderful. Julia is such a natural artist. Thanks for sharing your talent with the Second Life residents.

My New Baby Doll

Well, my whole adventure as a baby doll this weekend has prompted me to write a children's story called, My New Baby Doll. I hope you get an opportunity to read it. It will be available in the online game of Second Life for free and in real life for just a few dollars. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed making it.

For the baby doll in all of us

Okay, if this was not an adventure I simply don't know what one is. Today, I took a class in the online game of Second Life. The class taught me how to use the software qavimator. Well, actually, I knew how to use it before but the class taught me how to use it correctly. It was a GREAT class. We not only created animations but we learned how to put them in scripts. It was really wonderful. I still can't believe how much I have learned in Second Life for FREE.

Anyway, after learning how to make animations and scripts for eating doughnuts, I just had to go to the place that gave us the doughnuts. The place ended up being for little people called, Tiny people. You had to be tiny to fit into the shops. A few friends caught up with me and they taught me how to become a Baby doll. Now that too was a new adventure. We ended up going all over because I wanted to be a cute baby doll with cute clothes Any excuse to shop will do.

There are so many shops with really wonderful baby doll clothes. I really had a grand time playing dress up. It was like dressing up a baby doll. To be honest with you I never really played dress up as a child. I found nothing wrong with taking the baby doll to the baby sitter and they did that sort of thing. I was a child that like to play, go to work!

Everything will be kk

In the online game of Second Life it is not uncommon for avatars to end a sentence with, "kk". Somtimes "kk" is the sentence. Someone will ask a question, "I'm gonna be right back, kk?" or maybe someone will tell the other avatar what they are getting ready to do, "I'm gonna be away from the computer", and a response might be. "kk". What does "kk" mean? It simply means okay. There are many words abbreviated in Second Life but I think "kk" is rather cute.

In real life and in second life I constantly hear people complain about money. To be sure, I am complaining about it too but I think if we just hang in there things will change for the better. Here is to hoping things turn around for the better real soon. kk

I am so excited my friend, Tamra Sands sang today. If you haven't heard her sing in Second Life I hope you will. She was streaming live from New York. You may have seen Tamra Sands aka Tamra Hayden, on Broadway, as that is where she has been in many productions. Go Tamra! I'll put some of her songs up for you to hear. You might want to go to the bottom of the blogs and see the You tube video of her performance in Second Life.

I met Torin yesterday. He was such a kind soul. Evidently the last animation I was in put me in the sitting position. As I walked around the online game, Second Life, I had no idea I was still in the sitting position. Kind Torin told me and gave me something to fix the situation. Thanks and safe paths Torin!

I simply had the most fun last night. I was invited to sit in on a "pitch" session. I met the most extraordinary people. These established writers were so kind to invite me and the conversation was intelligent, witty, and humorous. This writers group was very supportive and kind. Wow, what a great way to spend the evening? I was so inspired and can't wait to read their books.

Cute Little Bakery

It's raining outside and I love snuggling up by the fire with the one I love. He must love me because he listens to my stories with his full attention. He loves to discuss my stories and it makes me feel great that he loves me and takes time to be engaged with what I like to do.

No rain in the online game of Second Life. I am always inspired by the lovely things I find there. Today I traveled to a medieval bakery. I enjoyed visiting. I just had to buy the soup. On a day like today, how could I resist?

Pots!

I told you I love kitchen stuff. I went to A&W kitchen today and was very pleased. The kitchen stuff is fabulous but these pots caught my eye. Burgundy is my favorite color so I loved that right away but what I didn't realize was that these pots have wonderful sound effects too. The frying pan sounds like it's frying up some food and the pots sound like something is boiling. You know, I love the creative artists in the online game of Second Life.

The Wonder Book

Wow! I just had a great time with Doobie. My friend Julia told me about this new kind of book in Second Life called, Wonder Book. I went over and purchased it and I am having a great time putting it together. They are really great books.

Japanese Food

Today I went to Kitchen Korner. It is rapidly becoming a favorite of mine. Please look for Karamel Madison, featured on my Fabulous Artist in Second Life blog.

I had lunch with Marsh. The food was incredible and I ended up ordering out for Real. You have to go check out Kitchen Korner. Not only is it fun but the attention to detail is marvelous.

My Little Teapot

Okay, this is more my speed. I love anything kitchen! I got a new tea set today and I Love it. It was made by Karamel Madison. I think her creations are wonderful. I hope to feature her on my Fabulous Second Life Artists blog soon.

I couldn't wait to bring it back to My Little Shop. I know it will look great in Nana's Noshes too.

Out of this world

Well, I don't know who wanted to go to the Star Trek Museum but off we went. I can tell you it was not my idea as I am not a Star Trek fan. I guess I shouldn't say that too loud. Anyway, the experience was wonderful overall. I learned alot about Star Trek.

One of the first things I learned was how much people really care about Star Trek! This was a labor intense museum. They really care about what they do as it's evident in the work I saw.

I also learned I'm not engaged by anything mechanical. It was all Greek to me. I did like the little kitty cat on the ledge. Great touch!

Oh, I got to sit in the captains chair. Thrilling as that was, I say, "Heavy is the head that sits in that seat".

I do recall seeing some Star Trek stuff on television and this room looked inspired by it.

This was a great little Star Trek reading room. I'm sure that's not what they call it but that's what it looked like to me.

Great effects all throughout the museum.

I enjoyed the time spent with everyone and the lessons learned about Star Trek. Hope you go and....
